The opera was composed between 1972 and 1975 and premiered in Milan in 1975. With it is IL CANTO SOSPESO, 1956, a diagramatic sketch. The CANTO (letters of Resistance fighters) was composed for vocal soloist, chorus and orchestra in 1955-1956. Both are inscribed and signed in purple ink.
